About Tess Morrow
Tess Morrow is the editorial pen name of the Email MK Tools research team. We price email marketing, funnel and course tools from each vendor's own pricing page, help center and terms, date every figure, and correct a guide when a price or rule changes.
Who writes the guides
Tess Morrow is a pen name, not a person you can hire. The guides are researched and written by the small Email MK Tools team and published under one byline so the voice and the method stay the same from guide to guide. We don't sell setup or migration services, and we don't speak for any vendor.
How we work
- Prices from the vendor's own page. Every plan price is read off the vendor's pricing page in US dollars, before tax, and the guide says when. Where a price has changed, we use archived copies of the page to show when it changed.
- Limits and billing rules from the help center and terms. Contact counting, send caps, tier changes, refunds and migration conditions come from the vendor's help center and terms, quoted where they decide the bill.
- Worked examples, not ratings. We price the same list size, or the same business, on each tool, and show the arithmetic. We don't publish star ratings or scores.
- Reader reviews checked at the source. Quotes from Trustpilot, Reddit and similar sites are opened at the original post and used in context, with a link.
- Accounts only where a guide says so. Most guides are built from published documents. Where we opened a trial account, the guide says so; where a step comes from the help center rather than a live account, the author note on that guide says that too.
What we don't do
We don't run deliverability or inbox-placement tests, so no guide claims one tool lands in the inbox more often than another. We don't accept payment for placement or for a verdict.
Corrections
Vendors change prices and terms often. If you spot a figure that no longer matches the vendor's page, or any other error, email [email protected] with the page address. We check it against the source, fix the guide, and move its "Updated" date.
How the site is paid
Some links are affiliate links (currently GetResponse, systeme.io and Moosend). If you buy through one, we may earn a commission; your price is the same. Links to other vendors go to their official sites and don't pay us. Each guide says which of its links pay before the first one appears. Details: affiliate disclosure.
